Relaxation and Meditation Workshop

Workshop Objectives:

To clear and focus the mind and eliminate outside influences to produce a state of deep peace and relaxation
To help you to think clearly which will improve your health, energy and general outlook on life
To help you tune in to your inner wisdom and expand your spiritual awareness

Meditation Workshop outline:

  • The benefits of meditation
  • A look at your own relaxation strategies
  • Daily breathing exercises
  • 3 simple meditation techniques to re-energise the mind
  • Alpha music to aid deep relaxation
  • 10 minute meditation
  • Question and answer session


Workshop details:

  • 2 hours including 10 minutes guided meditation
  • Maximum group of 12 participants
  • Use of Flipchart and easy to follow session
  • Practical group activities and exercises including guided meditation
  • Table of suggested resources and aids for relaxation
  • Feedback forms supplied and taken into consideration
  • Facilitator is British Sign Language qualified (Level 3) and is experienced with dyslexia and dyspraxia
  • Facilitator is Certified in Meditation Tuition (Teachers Diploma)

Package of follow up support and services for participants:

Wellbeing Support Programme

Consists of questionnaire and booking form sent in advance to all participants
20 minutes one to one session once a month
Confidentiality maintained at all times.
